Tom and I have been in Florida for better than two weeks now. It’s our longest vacation ever thanks to retirement and the fact that we drove our car south. That means no airline tickets are dictating our return. We’ll go when the snow storms quit wreaking havoc on the mid-Atlantic states. Tomorrow. We’re leaving tomorrow morning. That’s what we’ve said the past four days in a row. But really, tomorrow it is!
I have lots to tell about our extended trip, most of it involving an exciting visit with my dad (more on that later in another post). Some of it about the fabulous time we had at Sanibel Island in the gulf coast of Florida.
For now though. I hope you’ll click over to Patheos and read a post by Laura Statesir entitled, These Three Remain: Reaching toward Faith, Hope, and Love as LGBTQ Christians. Laura is a darling Christian girl (young woman) I met at the GCN Conference in 2014 and had the pleasure of seeing again at the 2015 conference. I admire and adore her!
This was supposed to have been posted on the 17th, while we were still in Florida…but apparently it published as a page rather than a post. Clearly I don’t have the hang of WordPress yet. 😦
